Thread: Double-click control menu to close window

i have installed , used fedora, ubuntu, & mint on several years , 1 extreme annoyance keeps me going windows. want able double-click upper left corner of window in order close it. no, not move x on left side. simple not need. want leave x on right , have freedom close window either side, every version of windows since 95 can do. not efficient roll , forth across screen click x, , feel idiot watching window maximize when double-click. clicking title bar should (and yes want keep too, not turn every double-click close command, double-clicks make on upper-left corner).i starting use zorin now, still lacks basic function. can please guide me setting need? or linux it? not want stuck windows, committed feature. please, advice not involve me unlearning 20 years of window closing technique.

i hoping response. gladly pay $500 mainstream version of linux has wine , dosbox built-in, testable on live dvd, , of respects double-click-to-close right out of box. don't want recompile crap , download bunch of hacks basic backward-compatible system, must redo on every pc , redo upon every clean installation. sadly must go buy windows , dislike every moment, @ least have option run working desktop can close windows classical way, , know tried through , join side didn't work out.
