Question on Downloading Captivate

i have commenced download captivate 7 process. akamai installer downloaded first, worked ok, produces browser window says, @ top, adobe captivate 7.0 english windows download complete. underneath sentence, install now button. other browser window black.

 

 

if click install button, nothing seems happen. if try close window, warning saying 'closing window interrupt download'. so, window has been on desktop more hour. there no way of telling whether actually being downloaded or installed. can't find adobe captivate on pc presume hasn't installed yet. - keep waiting, indefinitely? start again? seems poorly designed user interface there no way tell happening.

and activate serial number.

 

if have problem starting download, didn't follow 7 steps, or browser not accept cookies.

 

the common problem caused failing meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds cookie system enabling download correct version adobe.com).

 

failure obtain cookie results in error page being displayed after clicking link on prodesigntools.com or initiates download of incorrect (eg, current) version.
