Thread: "an application wants to access the keyring default"

this dialog beyond useless.

application??!!

how on earth person supposed intelligently decide whether or not it's safe allow mystery application access??

"excuse me, sir, 'someone' borrow house keys. allow it?"

how such otherwise well-developed operating system/shell/desktop-environment present such nonsense?

i'm not going go multiple nested levels of how silly right now.

how figure out app requesting access, can either give permission, or uninstall it? there's not way permanently answer "no" particular app.

file under, 'are kidding me??'. defies idea of 'security' -- completely. , it's bad os manners. =)

or four-year-old might heard saying... well-placed, contextually-relevant, "what the?"

appreciated.

ubuntu 1 can this.
