Thread: getting duplicate sources when I'm trying to install virtual machine.


i'm getting warning when run sudo apt-get update as:

w: duplicate sources.list entry http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian/ precise/contrib i386 packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/download.virtualbox.org_virtualbox_debian_dists_pr ecise_contrib_binary-i386_packages)
w: may want run apt-get update correct these problems

trying install virtual machine in https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/linux_downloads

can please me.

just have remove 1 sources list. in terminal enter:

gksudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

if unsure, please post sources list.
